Delete Your Account

Open Clockify on your phone and go to Profile → Delete my account. The screen explains what is removed and what your employer keeps, and lets you file the request with an optional reason. You can withdraw the request at any time before it is actioned.

This is the fastest route, and the one we recommend, because your identity is already established by being signed in.

If you have uninstalled Clockify or cannot sign in, email support@clockify.in from the address on your Clockify account, with the subject Account deletion request. Tell us your full name and your employer’s name.

We will ask you to confirm your identity before acting. We cannot action a deletion request that arrives from an address we cannot connect to an account, because doing so would let anyone remove someone else’s access.

Your Clockify sign-in credentials, your profile details (name, email, phone number, date of birth, address), your profile photo, your enrolled face profile, your device sessions and push registrations, and any verification selfies still inside their retention window.

Once this is done you can no longer sign in, and your face and photo are gone from our systems.

Your attendance, leave and payroll records remain with the organization you work or worked for. Employers are required to keep these under Indian labour and tax law, and they are also the records you would rely on if you ever needed to prove the hours you worked or the wages you were owed. Neither you nor we can erase them on request.

These records are held by your employer as the data fiduciary, retained on the schedule set out in our Privacy Policy, and deleted when that period ends or when the organization closes its Clockify account.

Requests filed by staff go to your workspace administrator, who has 30 days to action them. Requests that reach us directly are acknowledged within 5 working days and completed within 30 days of your identity being confirmed.

If you are the account owner, deleting your account means closing the whole workspace: every employee on it loses access, and the organization’s data is removed at the end of the retention period above. Only Clockify support can do this. File the request from the app or by email as above and we will contact you to confirm before anything is removed.
